TechFlow news, December 5 — According to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin broke through the historic milestone of $100,000 on December 5. ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood stated that Bitcoin is still in its "early stages," with a bright outlook ahead. Data shows that Bitcoin reached a $2 trillion market cap in just 16 years—significantly faster than Apple and Amazon, which took 42 and 29 years, respectively.
On the same day, Wood congratulated former President Trump’s nomination of pro-cryptocurrency figure Paul Atkins to succeed Gary Gensler as SEC Chair. She also highlighted Federal Reserve Chair Powell's characterization of Bitcoin as "digital gold," emphasizing that as a borderless digital asset, Bitcoin's innovative concept and application scope will far exceed those of traditional gold. ARK Invest released a new research report forecasting that Bitcoin's price could surpass $1 million by 2030.
