TechFlow news, on December 5, according to Fox Business, an industry insider said that Paul Atkins hopes to have Hester Peirce, the Republican commissioner known as "Crypto Mom," lead crypto policy together with her colleague, Republican commissioner Mark Uyeda.
Previously reported, Peirce expressed her desire to head an internal cryptocurrency working group to reassess the agency's stance on digital assets and engage in open dialogue with the industry. Peirce's term will end this June, and it remains unclear whether she wishes to be nominated again for the position.
