TechFlow news: On December 4, Kim Min-ki, Secretary-General of the National Assembly of South Korea, held a press conference on the same day stating that he strongly protests against the unconstitutional and illegal acts occurring at the National Assembly Building and the resulting damages.
Kim Min-ki announced that, starting from the 4th, access to the National Assembly Building by personnel from the Ministry of National Defense, police, and others will be fully prohibited. He stated, "This is an emergency measure to protect the personal safety of lawmakers and ensure the functioning of the National Assembly." Kim Min-ki added that the National Assembly will "thoroughly assess the physical and other damages caused by the declaration of martial law" and will hold those responsible for illegal actions accountable. He further noted that, according to current information, National Assembly staff members have been injured in the incident, and the exact number of casualties and extent of injuries are currently being verified.
