TechFlow News — On December 3, official sources reported that Jupiter will hold a special meeting on December 4 at 11:30 AM (UTC+8) to review feedback from the first round of voting and launch the second round of Jupuary voting. In the initial vote, 364 million JUP tokens participated, achieving a 58% approval rate, falling short of the required 70% supermajority threshold.
This vote concerns two proposals to issue new Jupuaries, each containing 700 million JUP tokens. Jupiter co-founder Meow stated that the team will continue iterating on the voting process until the 70% support target is reached. This is considered one of the most significant governance votes in Jupiter DAO's history.
