TechFlow reported on November 27 that decentralized derivatives trading platform Hyperliquid discovered over 100 entities controlling more than 27,000 addresses attempting to gain disproportionate points through large-scale, systematic behavior.
Hyperliquid stated it would apply a multiplier of either 2% or 20% to the points of these addresses, depending on the scale of Sybil activity. Affected addresses will be marked with "Sybil activity detected" on the points page. Additionally, Hyperliquid allocated 8 million points for activities in May and 8.4 million points for activities in October and early November, bringing the total final points count to 57.9 million.
