TechFlow news, November 27 — According to The Block, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken will shut down its NFT marketplace to free up resources for upcoming projects.
After November 27, 2024, users will no longer be able to list, bid on, or sell NFTs on Kraken's NFT marketplace and will only be able to withdraw their assets. The marketplace will be fully shut down by February 27, 2025.
A representative from Kraken stated, "We’ve decided to close our NFT marketplace in order to allocate more resources toward new products and services, including several undeveloped projects that have not yet been announced.
Customers have been notified of these changes, and our team will provide support to help them transfer their NFTs to the Kraken wallet or their preferred self-custody wallet."
