TechFlow reports, on November 25, according to the New York Post, Bitcoin investor Jon Collins-Black has hidden five treasure chests across the United States, collectively worth over $2 million, and released a clue book titled "There's Treasure Inside" to guide treasure hunters. The treasures include one Bitcoin (currently valued at nearly $100,000), Jacqueline Onassis’s diamond and sapphire brooch, a fourth-century BC Greek golden laurel wreath, a coin designed and minted by Picasso, and a rare lunar rock specimen.
Collins-Black stated that all treasure chests are located in safe areas within three miles of public roads and not on private property. He emphasized that finding the treasures requires no advanced cryptography skills—just curiosity and a spirit of exploration. This treasure hunt project originated during the pandemic lockdowns, aiming to bring adventure and joy to people.
