TechFlow reports that on November 24, Yu Xian, founder of SlowMist, warned on social media about a security vulnerability affecting major public blockchains, specifically Solana and Tron. Both allow wallet ownership (owner) to be changed with just a single signature. Once ownership is altered, the original private key becomes completely invalid and cannot be recovered in any way. "Under phishing scenarios where private keys aren't stolen, changing the owner via a single signature—apart from Solana, Tron has this same mechanism. Once changed, your private key is rendered useless. Unless the attacker willingly returns the owner (which is highly unlikely), don't believe any claims suggesting recovery is possible. Any such claim should be considered a scam."
