TechFlow News, November 22 — According to Reuters, Trump's "crypto advisory committee" is expected to establish the promised Bitcoin reserve.
Two sources said the crypto committee could operate under the White House National Economic Council—responsible for coordinating and implementing the president’s economic policies—or as an independent White House entity.
The committee is expected to advise on digital asset policy, work with Congress to advance cryptocurrency legislation, establish the Bitcoin reserve promised by Trump, and coordinate across agencies including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and the Treasury Department, according to these and other industry sources. One source also said the committee may include representatives from law enforcement and former policymakers.
