TechFlow reports on November 20, according to Cryptonews, the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC) is exploring the launch of cryptocurrency ETF products through its overseas investment division. Nicolás Sánchez, Head of Equity Investments at BVC, said the exchange is working to expand its product offerings and improve market efficiency as new participants and market makers enter the market. BVC is currently in discussions with its public foreign securities platform, Colombian Global Market (MGC).
Colombia ranks third in Latin America for cryptocurrency adoption, following Brazil and Argentina. This move may follow the successful example of Brazil's B3 exchange, which launched the world's first Solana (SOL) ETF in August this year.
