TechFlow news — On November 20, Litecoin's official Twitter account issued a statement addressing the recent unauthorized use of the Lester character by a project in the Solana ecosystem. Previously, in response to Dogecoin community’s humorous claim that "LTC is a meme coin," the Litecoin community commissioned renowned artist Greg to design the Lester character. However, this character was subsequently used by a third party to launch a token called "lestercoin" on the Solana blockchain. The Litecoin Foundation stated it has no affiliation with the project and emphasized that Lester is not an official Litecoin mascot.
Nevertheless, Litecoin's official Twitter account retweeted a question asking whether Litecoin would keep Lester as its mascot and replied affirmatively with: "Yes."
