TechFlow news, November 19 — Shaw, co-founder of ai16z, responded to the controversy surrounding Eliza's token launch: "I coordinated with our launch partner to try to acquire some tokens during Eliza’s release, but didn’t receive much. However, someone on our team did receive a significant allocation and has agreed to return it to the DAO and the team, so we now have sufficient funds to fulfill airdrop commitments to other projects and sustain Eliza team operations."
Shaw stated that although the抢先发行 (premature launch) of the project is regrettable, the original team has reached cooperation with the unauthorized issuers for the sake of holders’ interests, committing to airdrop 10% of the total supply to early token holders as compensation. The new team will join the Eliza project as code contributors, focusing on assisting the development of metanarrative tools. Shaw emphasized that the Eliza project has been in preparation for years, and despite this unfortunate incident, the team remains committed to advancing the project, ensuring the token circulates freely and remains uncontrollable by any individual or organization.
