TechFlow reported on November 15 that according to Cointelegraph, ConsenSys CEO Joe Lubin stated at DevCon 2024 in Thailand that following Donald Trump's election as the 47th President of the United States, ongoing lawsuits between U.S. securities regulators and cryptocurrency companies could be dismissed or settled in a "decent manner." Lubin expects the crypto industry could save "hundreds of millions of dollars" as a result. Previously, ConsenSys had filed a lawsuit against the SEC over its attempt to classify ETH as a security, but the case was dismissed by a federal judge in Texas on September 19.
