TechFlow news — On November 14, Christopher Giancarlo, former chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), posted on X platform denying rumors that he might succeed as chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Giancarlo stated that he had already cleaned up the "mess" left by Gary Gensler during his tenure at the CFTC and does not wish to do it a second time. He also denied speculation in Washington about his interest in a crypto-related position at the Treasury Department.
