TechFlow news, on November 13, Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on social media that BlackRock's IBIT reached the $40 billion asset milestone just 211 days after launch (only two weeks after hitting $30 billion), breaking the previous record of 1,253 days held by IEMG, BlackRock's emerging markets ETF. Currently, IBIT ranks in the top 1% of all ETFs by asset size, and at nearly 10 months post-launch, its assets surpass those of all 2,800 ETFs launched over the past decade.
