TechFlow News — On November 11, MEET48, an AI-powered UGC social metaverse project featuring idol culture, announced its role as a sponsor and initiator of the "W2140 World AI+WEB3 Expo" Bangkok edition. From November 12–13, MEET48 will bring nine top members from SNH48 Group to deliver a high-profile girl group performance and fan meetup at the W2140 World AI+WEB3 Expo in Bangkok. Co-organized by SNH48 Group and W2140 EXPO, the event will take place from November 12–14, 2024, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), showcasing leading projects in the fields of metaverse, AI technology, blockchain innovations, and the WEB3 ecosystem.
MEET48’s COO, Kai Xu, will deliver a keynote speech on the integration of idol entertainment and the crypto industry at 14:10–14:25 on November 12 at the main stage of the expo. Additionally, nine leading members of SNH48 Group—Wang Yi, Zhou Shiyu, Zheng Danni, Bai Xinyu, Zhu Yixin, Yang Bingyi, Liu Zengyan, Zhou Xiang, and Hu Xiaohui—will perform live on the main stage from 15:10 to 16:10 on November 12, followed by a fan meeting session from 9:00 to 13:00 on November 13 at the D-Zone side venue.

Notably, MEET48 will launch its “MEET48 Best7” campaign from November 15 to January 14, selecting the best songs and groups through phased voting, free NFT minting, and staking-based point accumulation, creating a shining Web3 stage for idols and newcomers alike. Furthermore, MEET48.ai is set to launch this December, enabling users to leverage Paro—the multimodal AI big data model for virtual idol music and dance—via MaaS services and the AIShowBox creation tool to easily produce virtual idol content such as short videos, MVs, and livestreams. By publishing content on MEET48.ai, users can build their own virtual idol social circles and earn additional rewards and airdrops.
