TechFlow news, according to Forbes, latest data shows that in October 2024, the volatility of several tech giants' stocks exceeded that of Bitcoin, challenging the traditional perception of cryptocurrencies being highly volatile.
Tesla had the highest stock volatility at 24%, followed by AMD at 16% and Nvidia at 12%, all surpassing Bitcoin's volatility range of 11%.
The volatility of other tech giants was lower than Bitcoin. Intel’s price volatility was 9%, while Meta and Microsoft remained around 8%. Amazon’s volatility was 7%, and Google’s was 6%. Apple was the most stable among all analyzed stocks, with a monthly volatility slightly below 6%.
Notably, Tesla’s volatility was more than twice Bitcoin’s volatility range in October 2024.
