TechFlow News, November 1 — According to Cointelegraph, bitcoin mining firm CleanSpark stated that following its acquisition of U.S. infrastructure company GRIID, it is nearing its goal of building 400 megawatts (MW) of capacity over the coming years. GRIID has provided CleanSpark with 50 MW of mining capacity.
U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty welcomed CleanSpark to Tennessee, adding that the state is a "great place to do business" and has rapidly emerged as one of the "key hubs for America's bitcoin industry."
In September, CleanSpark agreed to purchase seven mining facilities and associated land in the Knoxville area of Tennessee, increasing the company’s hash rate by 22%. The company also reported in its fiscal year report released on October 4 that its hash rate grew by 187% over the past 12 months.
