TechFlow News, October 28 — According to Bitcoin.com News, Bisa Bank, Bolivia's fourth-largest bank, announced the launch of a stablecoin service package, becoming the country's first banking institution to offer USDT trading services. The bank allows customers to buy, sell, and custody USDT within a daily transaction limit of 200 to 10,000 USDT, with fees ranging from 5 to 15 USD, and international transfer fees at approximately 40 USD.
Yvette Espinoza, chair of Bolivia’s banking regulator ASFI, expressed support for the initiative, stating that the service will provide users with a secure and trustworthy asset management solution. Franco Urquidi, Vice President of Business at Bisa Bank, emphasized that all transactions must be conducted through the bank’s accounts, and customers are required to complete a strict identity verification process.
