TechFlow reported on October 24 that, according to Cointelegraph, blockchain company Consensys has sent an open letter to the next U.S. president calling for clear and supportive regulations for cryptocurrency and Web3. The letter emphasized that regulatory decisions must be transparent to maintain America's global competitiveness while addressing consumer protection and illicit activities.
Consensys stated that regulatory uncertainty in the United States is hindering the development of blockchain technology. The company noted that despite widespread global adoption of decentralized platforms, there remains a lack of comprehensive regulatory frameworks. This gap in regulatory guidance, Consensys argued, leads to inconsistent enforcement actions and stifles innovation among businesses and developers.
