TechFlow news, October 22 — According to The Block, Karpatkey, a provider of on-chain treasury management solutions for DAOs, has announced the completion of a $7 million funding round. Investors in this round include AppWorks Ventures, Wintermute Ventures, as well as prominent angel investors such as Joe Lubin, founder of ConsenSys; Stani Kulechov, founder of Avara; and Fernando Martinelli, founder of Balancer Labs.
Marcelo Ruiz de Olano, co-founder of Karpatkey, said: "We were one of the earliest treasury managers for DAOs and remain the largest service provider in the industry today. Beyond traditional asset management, we offer comprehensive support including business development, risk management, legal advisory, and mergers and acquisitions."
Founded in 2020 initially to manage funds for Gnosis, Karpatkey recently spun off into an independent entity following a vote by GnosisDAO earlier this year. Today, Karpatkey’s managed network exceeds $1.8 billion in assets under management, serving major crypto projects such as Aave, Uniswap, ENS, and MakerDAO.
