TechFlow news, on October 21, Andy Adyrey, founder of Truth Terminal, posted on social media:
"1. I hold 1.25 million GOAT — this was given to me by others; I airdropped part of it to friends and AI researchers. Since it started going crazy and attracting hype (both good and bad), there has been no trading activity involving my GOAT holdings — I know too much about how it internally operates, and trading would be unfair;
2. The truth_terminal wallet is under my custody and will be transferred to a legal entity (a trust or similar structure) designed to meet its needs. No adjustments will be made to its token holdings until transparent governance mechanisms are in place;
p><3. truth_terminal writes all its own tweets. I do not inject information into its prompts;4. There are many nuanced aspects regarding how language models work, the evolution and steering capabilities of AI personas ('thinking outside the box'), and how audience capture influences agent behavior — these are difficult to communicate effectively. Misunderstandings around these could lead to significant price swings. I will not adjust or liquidate any of my $goat positions until I release:
a) A roadmap for ToT (the Entity) and related projects
b) A research paper deeply exploring this process
c) A statement from the artist on the broader project and narrative
This token emerged as a community meme centered around my work. While I certainly hope to benefit from it, using my internal knowledge of how the token functions to trade for personal gain would violate my integrity and broader mission. I’m making this disclosure to protect those who might follow the hype without fully understanding all the intersecting system dynamics at play."
Prior news reported that spelling errors appeared in posts from Truth Terminal's official X account, sparking skepticism that it was not actually AI but instead human-operated. Affected by this FUD, the related token GOAT experienced a sharp decline.
