TechFlow news, according to Coindesk, citing two memos released by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the New York Stock Exchange will be permitted to list and trade options for Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC), and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB).
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe Global Markets) has been authorized to list and trade options for Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) and ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB).
Several weeks ago, the SEC approved Nasdaq's rule proposal allowing options trading for BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).
Many market participants believe that options trading on Bitcoin ETFs will boost institutional interest in cryptocurrencies and increase overall liquidity.
