TechFlow reported on October 17 that Jesse Pollak, co-founder of Base, disclosed that the Base Research team has released a proof-of-concept (POC) for RIP-7755, a cross-L2 calling standard. This standard aims to enable seamless interoperability between different Ethereum Layer 2 networks, particularly major Layer 2 platforms such as Optimism and Arbitrum.
Jack Chuma, a member of the Base Research team, stated that the proof-of-concept for RIP-7755 applies to blockchains compliant with EIP-4788 and is currently capable of verifying the states of OP Stack chains and Arbitrum.
