As of the end of the third quarter of 2024, 330 million blockchain wallets and accounts (equivalent to number of users) have received USDT—comparable to the population of the United States. This figure does not include users who only use USDT on centralized platforms; partner data indicates tens of millions more such users. User growth continues to accelerate, with each quarter adding more new users than the previous one. In fact, the average quarterly growth rate over the past four quarters has been 9%. The third quarter of 2024 saw a record high in new users, reaching 36.25 million.
