TechFlow news, October 15 — According to an official announcement, recent permit phishing incidents have occurred frequently across the industry. OKX Web3 Wallet has now completed signature optimizations for permit/permit2, aiming to further strengthen security protections and safeguard user assets around the clock.
Following the upgrade, OKX Web3 Wallet will automatically display a warning prompt for users who use Permit signatures for the first time, helping them understand the risks and characteristics of Permit. Additionally, when users sign a Permit transaction, the signature page will clearly label "Authorize Permit," enabling users to easily identify such actions. Users can experience this new feature by upgrading their OKX app to version 6.80.0 or higher.
