TechFlow news, according to The Block, former FTX executive Ryan Salame has begun serving his seven-and-a-half-year prison sentence at a facility in Maryland.
Information from the Federal Bureau of Prisons website indicates that Salame, who previously served as co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, was held at FCI Cumberland in Maryland as of Saturday morning. The facility is described as a "medium-security federal correctional institution adjacent to a minimum-security satellite camp" and houses over 1,000 inmates.
