TechFlow news — On October 9, Aethir announced the launch of a new business focused on enterprise social media and AI, powered by the Aethir Edge computing network. To further enhance the capabilities of the Aethir Edge network and support the growing demand for decentralized edge computing, the Aethir Foundation has announced an increase in ATH rewards. From November 1, 2024, to June 2025, users can earn an average of 100 ATH tokens per day for each eligible Aethir Edge device connected to the network (based on uptime and bandwidth). This initiative aims to incentivize more users to contribute their idle computing resources, thereby enhancing the network’s overall capacity and performance.
Aethir Edge provides a decentralized platform that distributes computing resources across devices within the network, offering users a more efficient and cost-effective alternative to traditional centralized cloud computing. APhone is one use case of Edge—a device-agnostic Web3 Cloud Phone powered by Aethir’s decentralized infrastructure, enabling low-latency, secure, and high-performance access to social media platforms and DApps. Cloud Phone is a key focus area currently being developed by Aethir, leveraging its decentralized edge network to improve scalability, privacy, and cost efficiency for both individual and enterprise users.
