1. Simplicity: Many teams over-engineer their tokens without realizing:
Time + capital + attention = scarcity;
About 600,000 tokens were launched last year;
Competition for the above scarce resources is intensified by the ease of token issuance.
Instead, focus should be placed on:
Simple token design;
Clear vision;
Demonstrating how execution of the vision creates wealth for token holders.
2. High float, low fully diluted valuation (low entry valuation);
3. Founder/team alignment: We only get rich if we achieve our goals/deliver on promises;
4. High transparency (e.g., disclosing venture investors' cost basis, which is typically hard to find).
