TechFlow news, according to The Block, cryptocurrency investment firm Canary Capital has filed a registration application with the U.S. SEC for a spot XRP exchange-traded fund (ETF), becoming the second company this month to apply for such a product.
Founder Steven McClurg said that as demand for blockchain solutions grows, the company sees a more progressive regulatory environment. This ETF would provide investors access to the XRP market through traditional brokerage accounts, avoiding potential risks associated with holding XRP directly. The custodian for this ETF has not yet been determined.
