TechFlow News, on October 8, according to Fortune, Elon Musk admitted in a nearly two-hour interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson that he is "all in" supporting Donald Trump's return to the White House, saying, "If he loses, I'm screwed. I've been attacking Kamala (Harris) relentlessly."
Musk expressed concern that if Trump loses to Harris in next month's election, he could face serious consequences, including federal prosecution. He predicted that under a potential Harris victory, the X platform would become a target for political opponents, especially if the Democrats repeal Section 230, which protects social media platforms. Musk said this would "immediately bankrupt X."
Musk also said he might face federal prosecution, although he believes any such action would be purely a "legal battle" without substantive basis, stating, "They will try to sue the company, and they will try to sue me." Although Musk appeared nonchalant about the possible consequences, his mother, Maye, expressed concern, saying her son's attitude was "not funny at all."
