TechFlow News, October 8 — MEET48 officially announced its role as a member of the 1012 Organizing Committee DAO, co-launching the "1012EXPO" Global Digital Age Expo and 2024 Web3 Cruise Carnival. MEET48 COO Kai will deliver a keynote speech at the event. The "1012EXPO" is the world’s first large-scale technology expo themed around the great age of technological exploration, hosted on a cruise ship. It will launch on October 12 at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in Hong Kong, featuring a 5-day, 4-night voyage with dozens of high-quality conferences and exhibitions, aiming to become the “Davos of the Seas” for the tech industry.
The "1012EXPO" is set to bring together top publicly listed companies, entrepreneurs, investment institutions, policymakers, and global media from fields such as AI, Web3, and the metaverse to create a premier maritime gathering. The expo will host multiple high-level forums, including an AI & Web3 Capital Forum that will unveil C30, the world’s first crypto index fund listed on Nasdaq, and A30, the world’s first index fund dedicated to pre-IPO AI company equity. MEET48 COO Kai will give keynote speeches at the "1012EXPO Main Forum" on October 13 and the "Metaverse & IP Sub-Forum" on October 15. Other distinguished speakers include Peter Major, Executive Chairman of the UN Commission on Science and Technology for Development; Academician Li Yuhang, Executive Chairman of the World Academy of Digital Sciences and Advisor to the UN Science and Technology Commission; Turing Award winner Geoffrey Hinton; and Academician Zhang Xuemin of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering.
