TechFlow News — Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba plans to appoint House of Representatives members Minoru Shirokawa and Masaaki Taira to cabinet positions in the next administration. According to multiple sources, discussions are currently underway for Shirokawa to serve as Economic Security Minister and Taira as Digital Minister.
Sota, CEO of Startale, stated on social media that Masaaki Taira, former chair of Japan's government-backed Web3 initiative, is likely to become Japan's next Digital Minister as early as next week.
