TechFlow news — The Avalanche Foundation has announced the launch of Project Retro9000, a retroactive incentive program worth up to $40 million aimed at rewarding developers who have built L1 blockchains and related tools on Avalanche. The initiative is part of Avalanche’s large-scale upgrade, Avalanche9000.
Luigi D'Onorio DeMeo, COO of Ava Labs, said Retro9000 is designed to guide the development of the L1 ecosystem and provide incentives for early developers building products. Projects will be evaluated through public leaderboards and community voting.
