TechFlow news, on September 26, according to Cailian Press, OpenAI's Chief Technology Officer Mira Murati announced she will be leaving the company, marking another high-profile executive change at the artificial intelligence startup. "I'm stepping away to make time and space for my own exploration," Murati posted on social media X on Wednesday, adding that she would work to ensure a smooth transition.
Murati has been a central figure at the AI startup, serving as interim CEO after OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was briefly ousted in November last year. Altman replied, thanking Murati: "It's impossible to overstate how critical Murati has been to OpenAI, our mission, and each of us." He also said he would soon share more details with employees about the transition plan.
