TechFlow news, on September 25, former U.S. President Trump posted on a social media platform stating he is facing a serious threat to his life from Iran. Trump said the U.S. military is closely monitoring the situation and that he is currently surrounded by an unprecedented level of security personnel. He expressed gratitude to Congress for unanimously passing a resolution to provide additional funding to the Secret Service, calling it a demonstration of bipartisan cooperation.
In his post, Trump wrote: "Iran has taken some measures, but they haven't worked, and they will try again. This is not good for anyone. I am surrounded by hostile people, guns, and weapons in greater numbers than I've ever seen before." He emphasized, "An attack on a former president would be tantamount to suicide for the attacker."
It was reported that Trump's campaign team confirmed on the same day that Trump had received a briefing from U.S. intelligence officials regarding assassination threats from Iran. On September 24, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed the Presidential Security Enhancement Act, aimed at strengthening the Secret Service's protection of major presidential candidates.
