TechFlow reports on September 20 that, according to The Block, the documentary "Vitalik: An Ethereum Story," focused on Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin, has officially begun its online premiere. Funded through a crowdfunding campaign that raised 1,036 ETH (approximately $2.6 million), the film will be available for viewing on ethereumfilm.xyz for 30 days.
The documentary delves into Buterin's personal journey and the evolution of the Ethereum ecosystem, featuring interviews with Buterin himself, his parents, and numerous industry experts. It also includes recent remarks by Buterin from May 2023, in which he stated: "My biggest concern is the arrival of a bull market. If a bull run happens, all the speculation will come back."
Directed by Zach Ingrasci and Chris Temple, and produced by Optimist and Strange Design, the film aims to place control in the hands of viewers rather than large distributors. Producer Carrie Weprin said that through collaborations with Base and 0x | Matcha, they hope to empower audiences directly.
