TechFlow news — On September 19, according to The Fintech Times, cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com has obtained a Payment Service Provider (PSP) license from the Central Bank of Bahrain through its local subsidiary. This license will enable Crypto.com to expand its payment services in the region, including e-money operations and prepaid card products.
Her Excellency Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainability of Bahrain, welcomed the development, emphasizing that this move supports Bahrain’s vision of building a digital economy. She stated: "Crypto.com's choice of Bahrain as an investment destination will further strengthen Bahrain's ability to achieve its vision of developing a digital, resilient, and innovative economy."
