TechFlow news — Identity tokenization company Civic has announced a partnership with Web3 car rental platform Rentality to launch a blockchain-based driver's license verification service on the Base network.
By using Civic ID verified credentials, Rentality users can now verify their driver’s licenses online without the need for physical documents. This technology aims to streamline the car rental process while enhancing security and compliance.
Rentality CEO Tatura said users can now rent vehicles directly via smart devices using their crypto wallets. The service has launched in Miami and is planned to expand to other regions in the future.
