TechFlow news — Cross-chain interoperability platform Wormhole today announced that Google Cloud has joined its Guardian Network. As a Guardian node, Google Cloud's infrastructure will enhance the security of the decentralized network, ensure system reliability, and provide validation redundancy coverage.
In addition to joining the Guardian Network, both parties will accelerate Wormhole’s zero-knowledge (ZK) roadmap and optimize multi-chain security. Key collaboration areas include strengthening fast, low-cost, and trustless cross-chain message verification, as well as researching the integration of trustless ZK verification mechanisms beyond the current Wormhole Guardians.
Google Cloud will also participate in the Wormhole "Sigma" Hackathon scheduled for fall 2024, offering participants expert support in AI and Web3 technologies.
