TechFlow news — According to The Washington Post, citing two senior U.S. government officials on September 13 local time, an internal investigation by the U.S. Secret Service has revealed serious misconduct within the agency during the attempted assassination of former President Trump.
The report said that Secret Service personnel initially planned to install substantial equipment and flags between the rooftop where the gunman was positioned and the area where Trump was speaking, in order to block the line of sight. However, this measure was not properly implemented. The report also pointed out severe flaws in the intelligence transmission system: the Secret Service's radio room, which should have received real-time alert signals from patrol police, failed to receive those signals.
