TechFlow reports, according to Lookonchain monitoring, that James Fickel, a bullish ETH/BTC trader, is currently facing an unrealized loss of approximately 18,000 ETH (43.7 million USD).
From January 10 to July 1, Fickel borrowed 3,061 WBTC (172 million USD) from Aave and swapped them at an exchange rate of 0.05424 into 56,445 ETH. Since August 7, he has spent 12 million USDC to purchase 211 WBTC and exchanged 16,000 ETH for 671 WBTC (worth 39.9 million USD) at a rate of 0.042 USD to repay part of his debt on Aave.
Currently, Fickel still holds a debt of 2,196 WBTC (132 million USD) on Aave, with total losses amounting to approximately 18,000 ETH (43.7 million USD).
