TechFlow news, according to The Block, Danny Ryan, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, will be stepping away from the ecosystem after seven years of contributions. In a post on GitHub, Ryan stated that his departure is for personal reasons and unrelated to Ethereum, core development, or any aspect of cryptocurrency, adding that he wants to make space for other opportunities. "Steering the complex ship of Ethereum has been an all-consuming experience—though one of the greatest of my life—I am ready to let it go and make room for other things," Ryan said.
Ryan previously served as the lead coordinator for Ethereum's transition to the proof-of-stake consensus system known as The Merge, oversaw the launch of the Beacon Chain in 2021, and contributed to the Ethereum Foundation blog, including progress updates on Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs).
