TechFlow news — On September 6, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated on social media that he has not sold and retained proceeds from Ethereum for personal profit since 2018. This principle applies equally to all L2 tokens and other project tokens he holds, including those not yet in circulation.
Vitalik emphasized that over the past several years, all proceeds from token sales have been directed toward supporting various initiatives he deems valuable. These include development programs within the Ethereum ecosystem and broader philanthropic causes, such as biomedical research and development. He explicitly stated: "In the foreseeable future, I do not plan to invest in any L2 or other token projects. My goal is to support things I believe are valuable, especially in cases where other parts of the ecosystem might undervalue them."
