TechFlow News, September 5 — According to Jinshi Data, the number of initial jobless claims in the United States for the week ending August 31 was 227,000, compared to an expected 230,000 and a previously revised figure of 232,000 (originally reported as 231,000).
For the week ending August 24, the number of continuing jobless claims was 1.838 million, below the expected 1.865 million, with the prior value revised down to 1.86 million from the previously reported 1.868 million.
