TechFlow reported that on September 4, CoinMarketCap posted an update on its official X account, stating that it experienced a brief data revision malfunction on September 3, resulting in missing data points. CoinMarketCap quickly identified and resolved the issue, correcting affected all-time low (ATL) and all-time high (ATH) historical data. To prevent similar issues in the future, CoinMarketCap said it has implemented additional protective measures.
Previous report, CoinMarketCap announced on the X platform that the platform encountered inconsistent price data and was actively investigating and fixing the issue.
