TechFlow reports that Icelandic sound simulation startup Treble has secured €11 million in Series A funding. The round was led by KOMPAS VC, with participation from Frumtak Ventures, the European Investment Bank, and Omega Venture Partners. Treble plans to use the funds to expand its team, strengthen R&D efforts, and acquire new enterprise clients and markets.
Kristjan Einarsson, CMO of Treble, said the company will focus on the construction and technology sectors while expanding into automotive, gaming, and the metaverse to deliver immersive audio experiences for virtual environments.
Founded in 2020, Treble specializes in sound simulation technology and has built the world’s first cloud-based sound simulation platform for designing acoustics in buildings, vehicles, and tech products. The company’s proprietary simulation technology is over 100 times faster than existing solutions, helping industries reduce costs and create better sound environments, products, and services.
