TechFlow reports that privacy platform Nillion has announced integration with Aptos, a Layer-1 blockchain network, to support the development of privacy-preserving applications.
Aptos will now be capable of supporting various privacy-focused applications, including confidential decentralized finance (DeFi), private AI assistants, secure social media, and privacy-centric gaming and collectibles. DeFi users can benefit from private transaction execution or hidden liquidation vaults, while supply chains can enhance transparency without exposing sensitive data.
Nillion is a "blind computing" platform that leverages technologies such as multi-party computation (MPC) and fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) to enable decentralized trust for sensitive data. Nillion’s blind computing technology ensures that user interactions with custom AI models on Aptos remain fully confidential. This marks Nillion’s first integration with a non-Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain network.
