TechFlow reports that SHRAPNEL, a multiplayer first-person shooter game in the Avalanche ecosystem, released a community memo this morning addressing recent developments. The company acknowledged recent employee departures but emphasized that its core team remains at an industry-leading level. The memo noted that legal disputes involving company founders are ongoing, but control over the board has been restored, and the impact on the product team has been minimized.
SHRAPNEL stated that current development priorities are focused on three areas: improving game quality and usability, developing high-quality on-chain assets, and increasing the utility of the SHRAP token.
The company plans to hold an extended early access event in the fourth quarter of 2024, paving the way for the official free-to-play launch in the first half of 2025.
