TechFlow news, on August 27, according to Coindesk, the bankruptcy trustee of cryptocurrency lending platform Celsius released its first status report, stating that over $2.53 billion in assets have been distributed to more than 251,000 creditors. This distribution, paid in liquid crypto and cash based on prices as of January 16, covered approximately two-thirds of eligible creditors and represented about 93% of the total value. Another 121,000 eligible creditors have yet to successfully claim their average payout of around $1,500. The Celsius bankruptcy case received court approval for its restructuring plan last November, which aims to distribute over $3 billion in assets to approximately 375,000 creditors from 165 countries.
